Health & Safety
Ë You must provide written proof by your licensed veterinarian that your dog is up to date on shots and vaccinations. Required shots include: DHLPPC, Rabies and Bordetella. The DHLPPC and Rabies shots need to be specified
as to whether they are a one- or a
three-year shot. The Bordatella shot needs to be specified as to
whether it is a Ë Puppies must be at least six (6) months old. Ë Only spayed and neutered dogs will be able to be accepted. Ë All pets must be free of worms, fleas and ticks.
Ë Medications in pill or powder
form will be administered and recorded free of charge. The
medication must be provided in Ë We apologize for not being able to accept any pet that has stitches, bandages, a head cone, splint or diarrhea. Beginning this past December, Dog Gone Place started the practice of sending yellow Shot Reminder postcards to all of our customers. Because we are trying to give a little advance notice of expiring shots, they are sent out at the beginning of each month reminding the parents that their dog's shot(s) need to be updated by the end of the following month. Pet First Aid class sponsored by the American Red Cross.
She hopes she never has to use this knowledge, but we feel
it's better to be safe than sorry. |
